Treatment Professionals - get CEUs from the Counselor Certification Board for a 1-day conference attendance of $100. The conference has been approved for 14.25 CEUs including 5.25 CEUs for Wednesday, 6.25 CEUs for Thursday, and 2.75 CEUs for Friday.
Law Enforcement Professionals – several sessions will be POST accredited.

|
Carl Dawson MS, LLC, is a Licensed Professional Counselor in private practice in Springfield. He has been actively working and lecturing in the field of addictions and recovery for the past 30 years.
Paul Cary MS, is the director of the Toxicology and Drug Monitoring Laboratory at University of Missouri Health Care in Columbia. He has been a resource to drug court teams throughout the nation and overseas and serves as visiting faculty for NADCP, Center for Court Innovation and NDCI.

David Wallace is the Director of the DWI Courts office at NADCP. He served as the Traffic Safety Resource Prosecutor (TSRP) for the Prosecuting Attorneys Association of Michigan (PAAM), where he instructed prosecutors and law enforcement officers in Michigan on a variety of traffic safety topics, focusing on DWI and vehicular homicide cases. Wallace is also a former Calhoun County and Eaton County Assistant Prosecutor with more than 15 years of active trial experience.

Doug Marlowe J.D., Ph.D., is the Director of Law and Ethics Research at the Treatment Research Institute, and an Adjunct Associate Professor of Psychiatry at the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine. Dr. Marlowe is a Fellow in Addictions of the American Psychological Association (APA) and has a Certificate of Proficiency in the Treatment of Substance Use Disorders from the APA College of Professional Psychology. Dr. Marlowe has received several federal and state research grants to investigate the role of coercion in drug abuse treatment, the effects of drug courts and other diversion programs for drug-abusing offenders, and behavioral treatments for drug abusers and offenders. In June of 2004, Dr. Marlowe became a member of the Board of Directors of the NADCP, on which he serves as Chair of the Research Committee and Drug Policy Reform Comm.
